Over a third of adults have fantasized about having sex with someone else while doing the deed with a partner – and a startling majority admit their minds wander to unsexy places.
As it turns out, adults’ most common sex thoughts are about household chores that need to be done, what they’re having for their next meal, their favorite TV show or movie, and what’s going on at work, according to a shocking new survey by Lovehoney, a UK sexual wellness brand.
Over a quarter of men confessed to having daydreamed about their favorite sports teams while bumping uglies — but only 11% of women could say the same.
Of the 2,000 adults surveyed, 80% said they’d contemplated how good the sex really is while it’s going on.
Over half confessed to considering the things that they wished their partner would do in bed, and 53% asked themselves, “When will this be over?”

When it comes to asking oneself, “When will I get to finish?’ – 57% of females admitted to it, compared to 52% of males.
The older you get the less satisfied you are with sex.
While over a quarter of adults said they were unhappy with their sex lives (26%), only 11% of people ages 18 to 24 years old admitted to feeling unfulfilled in the bedroom — compared to 18% for 25- to 34-year-olds; 23% for 35- to 44-year-olds; and 33% for people aged 45 and over.
Individuals should always strive to boost their sexual satisfaction, no matter their age, according to clinical sexologist Ness Cooper.

“Exploring new things sexually can be helpful to learn new ways you enjoy being stimulated. Our bodies and experiences are forever changing and this can mean that we may enjoy things we didn’t before at any point in our lives,” Cooper said.
The sexpert recommended that people experiment with sex toys to get them going – something that over 50% of both men and women admitted to thinking about while doing the deed, the survey results show.
“Sex toys can offer variations to sensations and stimulation. Particular types of sex toys can help inspire certain forms of sexual play too which may not have come to mind before,” Cooper explained.
