Kaitlyn Bristowe is a “Bachelorette” again.
“After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement,” they said in a joint statement posted to Instagram Sunday.
“We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”
They added, “Our dogs Ramen & Pinot will continue to be cared for together as brothers. While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together.”
The exes went on to say that maintaining a friendship is “incredibly important to both of” them.
“We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die,” they continued.
“We are beyond thankful for the memories made together, and for your support of us and the boys throughout the years. Moving forward we will always have that level of support for each other. We don’t know what the future holds so please try to hold space for us in your hearts.”
Bristowe sparked split rumors on July 29 when she shared photos of herself not wearing her engagement ring.
Three days later, the “Off the Vine” podcast host clapped back at her Instagram followers for flooding her comments section with questions about the status of her relationship with Tartick.
“I cannot believe the audacity of people to expect things from me when I haven’t even been able to process things for myself. Have a f–king heart,” she wrote on her Story, further fueling breakup speculation.
The “Bachelorette” Season 11 lead had told Page Six in November 2021 that she and the Season 14 contestant had “a date picked” for their wedding. However, they postponed the ceremony over their “different tastes,” which she described as “frustrating” during an interview with Us Weekly in August 2022.

Bristowe was previously engaged to Shawn Booth, whom she met in March 2015 on the ABC reality dating series.
The exes separated in November 2018, saying in a joint statement that they were “very much committed to remaining friends.”
However, Bristowe later accused Booth of using her fame to capitalize on business opportunities for himself.
“It felt like he was hanging on until his gym opened,” she said on Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast in April. “And that’s where I felt used professionally.”
Booth, 36, is currently expecting his first child with photographer Audrey “Dre” Joseph.
