Smart Snacks for the Big Game

Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, Jamie Lee McIntyre, joined NY Living to share some smart snack hacks! McIntyre explained that the combination of carbohydrates with protein or healthy fats makes a snack satisfying. For example, she shared Nestle Fitness Thin Crackers paired with cheese and grapes for a mini snack box, or served with a ranch yogurt dip on a plate as simple, yet tasty, options. Fitness Thin Crackers provide a satisfying, savory crunch for only 100 calories per serving and serve as the perfect vehicle for their protein pairing! They’re made with whole grains too- in fact, that’s the #1 ingredient!

For snackers with different diet preferences, McIntyre recommends a board with variety so there’s something for everyone.
