The one zodiac sign that gives the best advice: astrologer

The word advice comes from the Vulgar Latin phrase mi est visum or “in my view,” and more specifically the Latin visum, “to see.”

Apropos of this etymology, we as people seek advice as a means of being seen and to find that which falls above and beyond our own world view.

Since advice is drawn from experience, all zodiac signs are capable of delivering it, albeit in different ways and in varying degrees of efficacy.

Water signs tend to reflect and relate, fire signs fire off, earth signs consider cause, effect and effort and air signs are aces at playing the devil’s advocate

My personal favorite piece of advice comes courtesy of Capricorn queen (with a Sagittarius Mars) Miss Janis Joplin who advised anyone that would listen to, “Get It While You Can.”

Always and ever, sis.

Read on to learn see if your sign reigns supreme as the zodiac’s resident sage.

Represented by the centaur, Sagittarius encourages us to dream big and fearlessly shoot our proverbial shot.

As the great seeker of the zodiac, Sagittarius is at once the sign with the best advice and the sign most likely to seek the counsel of others, the latter tendency building the former quality.

Ever the optimists, Sag folk appeal to our better angels as they hold and defend the belief that people are inherently good. Further, they are more invested in progress and resolution than any one party being “right,” a helpful stance when interpersonal quandaries arise.

Archers are aces at integrating need and wisdom to create a solution never thought possible or provide a perspective never before considered.

More often than not, good advice is born from personal failure and/or a wealth of lived experiences both brutal and beautiful. In kind, and as a result of their fearless and sometimes foolhardy approach to life, Sag stands apart as the sign most likely to acquire such hard won knowledge and the sage vantage of survival.

The poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, (himself a Sag rising) wrote, “Advice is like snow – the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind.” As a mutable fire sign, Sagittarius embodies the ethos of flexible action and understands the power of wisdom deftly dealt.

Ruled by abundant, luck dealing planet Jupiter, Sagittarius energy (and advice) pushes us to take bolder risks and broader strides in business and personal dealings.

Always opting to carry on past the precipice, archers are imbued with an buoyant, contagious confidence that suggests everything can and should work out better than expected.

Another hallmark of Jupiter’s influence is expansion and in the realm of advice, archers aim to help others grow through the struggles they face and the questions they raise.

Indomitable of spirit, Sag folk are aces at integrating need and wisdom to create a solution never thought possible or provide a perspective never before considered.

Coming in a close second for admirable advisors is compassionate, feel your feels Cancer which counts among its ranks Dear Abby, Ann Landers and my own therapist who is a divine, spectacled creature and a fount of wisdom.
